Device compatibility may also vary by country. For instance, eSIM functionality on iPhones is not available in mainland China. iPhone models such as the XS, XS Max, and XR sold in China, Macau, and Hong Kong are not eSIM-compatible, as they are equipped with dual physical SIM slots instead.

Allow your eSIMD to connect to a Network automatically for 5 minutes once you arrive to your destination.
If it doesn’t happen, connect to the Network manually. For iOS, go to Settings → Mobile Service / Cellular → Select UNISIM in SIMs list → Network Selection → Turn off “Automatic”. Wait for a few minutes, select and connect to a Network.
For Android, go to Settings → Network and Internet → SIMs→ Select UNISIM in SIMs list → Turn off “Automatic”. Wait for a few minutes, select and connect to a Network.
Make sure that Data Roaming is enabled. Check if your Plan is still active. If not, select and purchase a new Plan.
Go to Settings → Cellular → Your eSIM → Turn on
Go to Setting → Network and Internet → SIMs → Active eSIM → Enable
